[NEWS] f(x) to Reveal New Song ‘Chu~♡’ on the 4th, Comeback on the 6th on Music Bank

f(x) will be revealing their new song ‘Chu~♡(츄~♡)’ beforehand on the 4th before the release of their 1st single album on 9th November.

The title song to their new single album ‘Chu~♡’ will be a Eurodance number, which will corporate drum source usually used in black music. The lyrics to the song talks about the excitement and anticipation to want to go out to see the world.

Meanwhile, the group will reveal the performance for the song on 6th November on KBS Music Bank and also perform on MBC Music Core and SBS Inkigayo this weekend.

[NEWS] The Wonder Girls to Return to the States this Weekend

5-member girlgroup WonderGirls will be returning to the States again to resume their promotions there.

On 3rd November, a representative revealed, “The WonderGirls will returning to the States this weekend on either the 7th or 8th. After returning to the States, the girls will be doing interviews from magazines and newspapers as well as appear on TV shows.”

With this, the girls will be heading back to the States about 2 weeks after they have returned to Korea. The girls also did a 2D1N promotions in China during their stay in Korea.

Meanwhile, it is said that the girls will be appearing with Park Jin Young on Golden Fishery to talk about their experience in the States doing promotions.

[NEWS] SNSD CF Music Faced with Plagiarism Controversy

A Japanese blog had stated that the music used in SamYang Ramen CF with SNSD had infringed copyrights. The background music in this CF is similar to the one used in the hit Japanese game “Bubble Bobble”.

The advertisers had responded to this claim that they had received permission to use this music and had paid for the use of the music to the original owner of the “Bubble Bobble” track.

But as the blogger had not checked out the facts right before publishing this piece widely, it had lead to Korean and Japanese netizens started a verbal war online.

An official had expressed sadly that “Its absurd. The CF had received permission to use the music.” and that “The Japanese blogger had mistaken”.

The SamYan Ramen CF had been filmed with the concept of “Friends Ramen, SamYang Ramen”. SNSD members used the ‘보글보글’ song and the ‘보글보글’ dance to chase away boredom in the CF. The interesting yet easy to catch on lyrics in the ‘보글보글’ song by SNSD had created interest among public.

[NEWS] KIA YangHyun Jung “Team’s Winning Thanks to SNSD’s TaeYeon”

KIA Tigers’ Yang Hyun Jung said that the team’s as well as his excellent performance this season was because of SNSD’s Taeyeon.

He said that he had been a SNSD Taeyeon fan since a long time ago, and in April, he had received Taeyeon’s signature through a sports reporter.

Yang HyunJung said “Although I wish to get the signatures of all the members, I received Taeyeon’s signature before a match” and “She wrote a message for me with the signature wishing to see a 10 victory”.

The auction date for SNSD’s personal collectibles is nearing.

From 23rd October, SNSD’s outfits from ‘Chocolate Love’ MV had been put up for auction. The proceeds from this auction will go to helping needy children around the world.

SNSD’s auction had brought in much interest because the member’s individual popularity will be especially evident in the bidding. Currently, Yoona is leading with 8060,000 Won (~USD$8060) offered, with Tiffany in the 2nd with 7000,000 Won (~USD$7000). Taeyeon, who is popular among the male fans had not fared as well as what everyone believed. Taeyeon came in 3rd, behind Yoona and Tiffany with 6440,000Won (~USD$6400).

The skyrocketing prices for SNSD’s lead to concerns by many. The prices increase rapidly at the start as the fans of individual members were actively bidding to “prove each member’s popularity”, making it difficult for the winner to pay the high price when the bidding ends.

"Kimi no Uta" (Your Song) is Abingdon Boys Schools' 7th album. It is scheduled to be released on the 26th of August. This is their 3rd single release of 2009 since their singles "Strength" and "JAP"

Kimi no Uta, the A-side or featured track, will be used as the opening theme for the anime "Tokyo Magnitude 8.0." Stealth-Type Zero JAP serves as the B-side in the single.

I love the whole feeling Kimi no Uta has, especially the instrumental. It's defitintely what I'd expect from ABS. Cant wait to hear the rest of the album.

[news]Big Bang will perform at Japan's Budokan '09

Big Bang, after debuting in Japan 4 months ago, will be performing at Japan's Budokan this November.

According to YG Enterntainment, Big Bang will be holding a concert at Budokan on November 4th. This is an amazing opportunity for them because many Japanese singers dream of performing at Budokan. This is the first time a Korean artist/group has made it to Budokan in 4 months. This just shows how successful and popular they have become in Japan. Before the concert they will have a Japan concert tour which will be hitting 6 cities starting with Nagoya on October 26th.

Although Daesung is still recovering from his injuries, YG Entertainment hopes that he will be okay in time and rejoin Big Bang and their fans in a few months. Big Bang will also be releasing their 1st Japanese album and Asia Best 2006-2009 album at the same time in 5 days, on August 19th, to promote the concert. So keeps your ears out for their new album. I know it will be great.

This was the FT Island video that was shot in Cebu… I couldn’t quite place the ruins.. but my best guess would be Fort San Pedro… but not sure… and the place where the busts are.. I’ve seen that before but I couldn’t remember where… but the jeepney ride tells me that they did shoot it here in the Philippines.. I’m pretty sure that ride was somewhere in Mactan or Mandaue — but I’m pretty sure they went to the reclamation area!.. because of the red and blue lamp post! (unsaon nlng!),… and and the Mactan bridge (first bridge)!

[News] Kim Hyun Joong in SS501 Fanmeeting Hong Kong

I miss Boys Over Flowers! And I especially miss Kim Hyun Joong.

But now he’s back with the other SS501 boys and they have been a bit busy now, releasing their solo singles and a new song.

The boys (SS501) recently had a Fan Meeting in Hongkong last July 1. And from that fanmeeting I found a fan cam of Hyun Joong playing the guitar at the fan meeting. I miss him playing the guitar!

Because of this I’m back tracking on the episodes of We Got Married! I miss the lettuce couple! I’d be in heaven if he would sing Falling Slowly for me like he did for Hwang Bo in We Got Married… who wouldn’t right! But at least from this video, he looks healthier compared to the last few episodes in Boys Over Flowers. Oh, and you can see Young Saeng and Kyu Jung in this video too.. but is it me or do they look sad.. aw… they’re probably tired.. but they made the effort to smile.

[NEWS] SS501 Fans Doubtful of SBS Inkigayo Music Chart Results, Request for Clarification of Breakdown

Fans of group SS501 has raised their doubts about her the production team of SBS Inkigayo derived on their #1 winner.

On SBS Inkigayo aired on 1st Noveber, SS501 won #2 on the show’s chart. With that, fans are saying that things do not make sense and requested for the breakdown of deriving at the #1 winner from the production team to the show.

The part about the breakdown that had the fans doubtful is the the album sales portion. Part of the fans have also started a protest thread on Inkigayo’s viewers noticeboard.

One SS501 fan said, “Do see the HanTeo chart. (SS501’s album) sold more than any other singer’s album. And on Friday, SS501 lose to SHINee by just 3000 points.”

There were also doubts if there is combined calculation of the normal and limited edition of SS501’s album.

With that there are increasing number of posts on the viewers noticeboard asking to reveal the breakdown of how Inkigayo derive at the #1 winner to ask for clarifications.

There has not been any clarifications from Inkigayo yet.

[NEWS] TVXQ Not Allowed To Continue Group Activites?

SM Entertainment will have a press conference today regarding the conflict with TVXQ.

Lawyers of SM Entertainment said:

“The court’s ruling for TVXQ is not fair. They didn’t consider the main reasons of the case. Their long contract is so that we can let them grow and have a long term deal with them. We want to look at their career in the long run and the court’s decision is not letting us do that. This is going to affect TVXQ’s international promotions. It’ll also create confusion for stars that want to have long term contracts and move on to bigger things later in their careers and for the companies that want to nurture talented people for a longer time. Not only that, it’ll have some unwanted consequences on exports of Korean music as well as other issues.”

They continued to say:

“Each year, we adjusted the contracts in favor of the members. Before this problem, the three members never complained about anything. Now that they have succeeded this much, they are complaining. They have just started to reach the top and now want to separate. Before a final decision is made, the three can do their personal and individual work. However, we do not acknowledge the right for the three to work as TVXQ”

Because of all this, TVXQ has not been able to work and SM Entertainment will seek to receive compensation for damages during the time that TVXQ has been inactive.

[NEWS] SM is Sure of Overruling Court Decision on TVXQ

Talent powerhouse SM Entertainment has vowed to fight back and win against a court ruling last week which granted three members of boy band TVXQ partial victory in their request to nullify their exclusive contract with the agency.

In late July, TVXQ members Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun and Xiah Junsu had applied for provisional disposition of their 13-year contract with SM to which a court ruled that the agency will not interfere in their individual activities.

“The recent decision has not taken the essential reasons and fundamental of the issue in to consideration,” SM started by saying in a press release on Monday. “We are sure that the court’s decision will change once we provide enough evidence which are looked into under the proper legal proceedings.”

SM also declared that they will ask the three for compensation amounting to over a total 2.5 million dollars for the losses and damage incurred upon the group and the agency with the ongoing legal action, should the court rule in favor of SM in its final verdict.

They went on to explain that the terms of the contracts had been adjusted every year in favor of the members and are now asking to be freed from them since they are starting to see success.

“This ruling will cause confusion in the entire entertainment industry and make it impossible to create a system where (agencies) will be able to upbring their stars with long-term prospects,” SM added.

The statement came just hours before a news conference set for later in the day where they plan to talk about their position in more detail.

TVXQ, who debuted in 2004 with album “Hug”, is one of Korea’s most successful K-pop groups. They are stars throughout Asia, reportedly having the largest fanbase in the world, and have enjoyed great success in the Japanese music industry in particular.

[NEWS] Park Bom to Start Promoting ‘You & I’ on SBS Inkigayo Coming 8th November

2NE1 Park Bom will open promotions for her solo song ‘You And I’.

With the song release recently, the song ‘You & I’ has gone up to the #1 spot on various music charts almost immediately. This will be good news for fans since it was initially planned that Park Bom will not perform the song on music shows.

YG Ent said, “Recently, Sandara Park’s solo song ‘Kiss’ is also #1 on various music chart but there is no promotions for the song. And it was set for Park to focus on preparations of 2NE1’s full length album set to be released in November.”

“But 2NE1’s full length album released may be postponed and hence there is possibility for Park Bom to promote the song. With all the love and support 2NE1 got with their previous hits, we will work hard until all the songs in the upcoming album are to the standard of title songs.”

Meanwhile, the song ‘You & I’ is #1 up on all Korean music charts in just 2 days into its release and it is even up #1 on mobile ringtone charts.

Park Bom said, “Lately I’m really happy but because of the 10x of burden/stress I’m receiving I don’t get to sleep much. I will do my best and do proud for 2NE1.”

Park Bom will start promoting the song on music shows from 8th November on SBS Inkigayo.

Worried about Jun-pyo’s latest comments, Yi-jung drops by the restaurant looking for Jan-di. Ga-eul tells him Jan-di’s not working today, so he asks if she’s her friend, and how long they’ve known each other.

At her answer (”Since kindergarten”), he smiles and figures that’s good enough: “So you’re best friends. Then let’s go.”


At his pottery studio, Yi-jung explains that he’s afraid that Jan-di will get hurt, and asks Ga-eul to advise her friend. Initially dazzled by the tall, handsome, rich guy, Ga-eul’s opinion drops once she gets his drift: “What kind of advice? That she can’t climb that tree, so don’t bother trying?”

Yi-jung ups the charisma, smiling at her and saying that cute girls like her are scary when angry. She sees through the charm and tells him that he must have thought he could fool everyone with his pretty face, but he misjudged her. She’ll pretend this conversation never happened.

Ga-eul gets up to leave, but stops and comes back for one last word, temper flaring. After all, Jun-pyo’s the one who likes Jan-di, not the other way around: “Jan-di doesn’t care to climb that tree.”

As she’s exiting, she runs into Woo-bin, who wonders what that’s all about. Yi-jung says it’s nothing, and that she’s exactly the type of girl he dislikes (backwards and unfashionable). And yet, his eyes say otherwise…

[NEWS] Taegoon’s Confession, “I Had to Lose 20kg in 2 Months By Having Water And Rice In Order To Debut”

On October 29 broacast of SBS Power FM “Choi Hwa Jung Power Time” Taegoon confessed that he was not able to debut until he lost 20kg.

Before Taegoon made it into his current company, he was turned down by many agencies with only the words “You’re too bulky.” Taegoon says, “I only ate rice, and I only drank water to lose weight. With that I also did 4 hours of exercise each day. But when I finally ate again I regained 10kg.” causing laughter in the studio. Instead of going to measures to be thin, Taegoon says the only thing he does now is try to stay healthy by controlling what he eats.

He also shared that if you drink water which had red beans boiled in it, you will lose more weight than from drinking normal water.

[NEWS] SNSD Taeyeon, Why is She Hugging K.Will?

The released pictures of SNSD Taeyeon hugging K.Will is becoming a discussion topic.

The pictures that drew attention were the ones that were updated on the MBC ‘Taeyeon’s Chin Han Chin Gu’ radio homepage on the 26th of Taeyeon tightly hugging K.Will.

In the picture, Taeyeon can be seen holding K.Will closely and is smiling at the camera while K.Will is covering his face with his hands and seems to be embarrassed.

And Ilak who was standing by them is covering his own mouth with his hands and posed as if he was trying to hide his embarrassment.

The staff of ChinChin posted a comment with the picture saying, “We had various thoughts when we heard the news of K.Will coming to the studio. Whether we should all be wearing masks or typing with latex gloves on our hands.”

But they also stated below, “We aren’t like that. We’re like a family, we won’t be afraid of K.Will. We will not be afraid.”

Girls Promotes LG’s World Cup 2009

If someone asks who are the girls, I’ll laugh really hard.

Obviously I’m talking about the girls from SNSD and f(x) !

So while these girls are endorsing their cells, LG got some of them to promote their LG World Cup 2009, which is a competition to see who sms the fastest using their cellphones. These isn’t a small pea contest as there’s over 14 countries involved, but ofcourse no Canada and USA… *BUT* the winners of each of those country will go on to compete in USA so… MAYBE LG will send the girls over to US as special performing guest ?
